LOC vs. LCO methods

LOC Method Liquid, Oil and Cream *Moisturize hair with water or a water based Leave-in conditioner *Seal in moisture with Oil e.g coconut oil, argan oil, castor oil, etc *Seal in again with cream or hair butter to close the hair cuticle e.g. Shea butter, etc. LCO Method Liquid, Cream and Oil *Same description as above (Cream and Oil interchanged). Why do I have to use Liquid, Oil and Cream on my hair? Liquid - water which is the best source and only true form of moisture for our natural hair. It goes down to our hair cuticle, thereby making the hair soft. Oil - helps slow down the evaporation of water (moisture) from our hair. Cream - slows down the loss of moisture to provide maximum hydration.
