Back to the main reason why you opened this page, of course we all want long and healthy Natural Hair and most times we ask ourselves the question - "how can I grow my Natural Hair long?"

Here are few tips on how to grow your natural hair and keep it healthy:

1. Drink plenty water
Water is your natural hair's best moisturizer. Water is hairssential and needed to increase your hair growth, make it look and stay healthy. Water should be your natural hair's best friend, don't deprive your hair of her best friend.

2. Eat a healthy diet
Eating a healthy diet rich in protein, minerals and vitamins can help maintain a long and healthy natural hair. Eat foods are that high in vitamins A, B, C and E, copper, zinc, iron, magnesium.

3. Massage your scalp
Massaging your scalp stimulates hair follicles by promoting blood to flow to your scalp, which eventually results in increased hair growth.

4. Deep condition your hair
DEEP CONDITION your hair once a week with hot oil treatment or DIY hair masks e.g. Avocado, Eggs, Coconut oil, Banana, etc.

5. Use Castor oil
Castor oil promotes hair growth naturally and it is rich in fatty acids and vitamin E. Use castor oil to massage your scalp.

6. Wear protective hair styles
Avoid hairstyles that can easily pull out your front hair (edges) leaving you bald. I'm sure you don't want to go bald as a woman. Make braids, twists, etc

7. Have it in mind, your hair will not grow long overnight
It takes patience gaining new length.

8. Get regular trims
This would make your hair tips healthy and prevent your split ends from breakage.

9. Wear a satin bonnet
Use a satin bonnet or a satin pillowcase as this would prevent your hair from breakage because of its texture.

10. Sleep with big braids or twists
Don't sleep without making big braids or twists on your hair to avoid lots of tangles which could eventually results in much breakage.

11. Detanglers 
Section your hair before detangling, use your fingers to work through your hair or use a wide-tooth comb to detangle each section of your hair. Also go to any hair store and get a detangler or leave-in conditioner.
